Fellowship Program

Our fellowship program has helped scores of young political activists and students begin their careers in electoral politics and government. Former fellows have gone on to hold senior level government positions in the New York City Council and State Legislature, as well as the offices of Governor Kathy Hochul, Congressman Gregory Meeks and many more. Many have continued to work in the campaign world, joining races across the country from Presidential campaigns down to City Council. Still others have used their experience to continue their education, succeeding in becoming students in top law schools.

Dynamic SRG is looking for politically engaged individuals who are interested in developing the skills that they will need to pursue careers in politics, marketing, public relations, or communications. Responsibilities will include direct communication with key donors, research, logistics, data entry, briefing principals, and event management.

Fellows will learn how to identify potential contributors for campaigns at the city, state and federal levels. They will also gain basic knowledge of fundraising strategies and compliance guidelines for city, state and federal elections.

Applicants should be very comfortable on the phone, have basic computer skills, strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to progressive politics. You will be expected to think creatively and learn quickly.

This is an unpaid internship with limited availability. We are proud of our job placement record and maintain an active alumni network of former associates working at all levels of politics and advocacy. We will work with academic institutions wishing to issue credit for this program.

If interested, please send a cover letter that illustrates your writing style and commitment to progressive ideals with a copy of resume to Brian Grandelli at brian@dynamicsrg.com.
